CASE STUDY

ninemsn is Australia's largest online digital company with over ten million people visiting the network each month - reaching 69 per cent of the online population.  A joint venture between PBL Media and Microsoft, ninemsn delivers outstanding online and mobile news, information, entertainment, social networking and search capabilities.

The business wanted to improve our performance during the GFC and amidst a growing market of online potential challengers. Central to our strategic plan was developing the leadership abilities and results within the corporation.

After considering our options we selected Quadrant Executive as our preferred supplier of leadership assessment and development services for our top 50 leaders. Quadrant took a great deal of care to fully understand our people and culture and tailored an excellent program that:

  • Provided a framework for leaders to develop their team members.
  • Aligned them to the organisation vision, values, cultural aspirations and behavioural expectations.
  • Empowered individuals to take ownership of their careers, achievement and contribution to ninemsn.

Quadrants execution of the program exceeded both management and participants’ expectations with an energetic yet thorough and professional attitude that instantly gained our enthusiasm to become fully engaged with the leadership program.
We see the benefits of the Quadrant solution to be:

  • Fundamental improvements to leaders’ communication skills.
  • Improvement in overall staff satisfaction as measured by surveys.
  • Better alignment of behaviour to desired culture from leaders through their teams.

Quadrant Executive is helping our organisation to successfully execute our people strategy and are a proven and trusted business services partner. I would certainly recommend Quadrant Executive for an organisation looking to develop and implement an effective and productive Leadership Program.
